Fly swatters give too much advance warning.

I use a rubber band. When the %$#! finally stops to perch, you take careful aim and nail'em. Works. Gotta use the thick rubber bands though, and it's also useful to have practiced to-the-death rubber band fights with your brother during your greener years. I like it when they perch right above a garbage can and there's no need to haul away the corpse afterwards.

Vacuum cleaner. End of fly, end of subject.

I have no idea but things like this are one of the many very good reasons I dont watch TV any more.

Oh, and seriously? Guys? There's loads of top notch stuff on TV and when there's not there's repeats (Merlin, Dr Who, Downton Abbey, Golden Girls I WISH well actually I don't I have the boxset, original Upstairs Downstairs on ITV3 to name a few) in fact so much I rarely have time to go out!!!!!
