Not sure if this was posted elsewhere, but the hobbit has been nominated for 3 Oscars, all having something to do with aesthetics, as is to be expected. Honestly, i don't think it deserves it this time around. The effects weren't really good at all, it's just nominated because its weta digital Evil or Very Mad
