Went to work, did a shift came back and its still uploading. I harte uploading- not that theresa rush what with Ringdrotten up a fjord somewhere and Eldo being American to the pooint of no redemption even by the good Doctor (but I live in hope). Still the first 16 of 22 bits is up, rest are uploading as I type. As with the megaedit you need all the bits before extracting.

Yup- this is as Whovians say "my Doctor" -the Doctor who dominated my childhood, you can age a Brit just by asking who their Doctor was. Very Happy And boy did I luck out (although I'd have considered myself very lucky to have had either Troughton or Smith as 'my Doctor' too). This story, Genesis of the Daleks, as well as some brilliant perfomances is also only Bakers first series as the Doctor, and like Smith at the same point he has already made it his own.

Very Happy You certainly lucked out too- and to think it was so close to not being, a series or two earlier you could have ended up with Tennant as your first (which seems to work if your a fan girl- or GB Wink )

Last three bits are uploading- shouldn't be too much hassle to dl, not nearly as many bits as the megaedit being a 1/3 the size.

No excuse or reason for these other than pure entertainment. John Simms excellent turn at renegade Time Lord and old enemy of the Doctor, The Master. Firstly having a sing along to the Scissor Sisters- no really.

And the very funny, well makes me laugh, its a gas mask scene.

Enjoy. Very Happy

Going to put up another classic Who edited into a single film. War Games. Its a long one, 3hrs 45minutes and I make no excuses for that cause its one of my favourites-well worth the relatively short amount of time to download. Patrick Troughton as the Doctor in his fairwell adventure. Notable (apart from being excellent) for one of the rare occasions the Doctor uses the sonic screwdriver to unscrew something! Also the first time the Time Lord emergency message box is seen (last seen in the Doctor's Wife) and, although not canon, its widely accepted by Whovians that the character of the War Chief is the first encounter between the Doctor and the character that would later become the Master. Here's a trailer by Biggerbaddaddy for it. Keep an eye on the skydrive for it, it'll be going up later today or tomorrow.

I recommend Daily Motion. They don't tend to turn up if you search on the site so I find its usually best to do a google video search with daily motion selected as only source and search with the episode name.

Just stumbled across a Doctor Who fan film thats not awful! Shocked I even like their Doctor. Shocked
Got some pacing issues, but considering its a bunch of Americans they do not a bad job of getting the Doctors perosnlaity and humour. Not brilliant but not bad either and worth a watch.

Just finished watching the beast below - currently on iplayer

I'd forgotten Amy had such a momentous first outing, made me cry at the end. yet again emphasises what a special companion she is. She saw who he was soooo fast!

Will have to keep up with this re run I think. And I need to watch River episodes again in light of the new info!

I just watched the second part of a two parter Wink Could be a three parter, but didn't really get the impression it was. It ended with River being greeted by her team. Does that mean she's "saved" (if you've seen it)?

Her pattern is saved- her physical body is atomized. She's technically dead. She sacrified herself to save him before he even knew who she was. And yeah its a 2 parter.
