watched 2 NUWho episodes last night, the 2 after the doppleganger one in the castle, I dont want to let a spoiler off, as mine seem to be very smelly. Enough to say that Smith and co are growing on me, but not as much as River, she is cool. some of the surprises were not really surprises, and what the h*** is Rory doing in a skirt?

If you had watched them in order as I do keep 'hinting' you should Mrs Figg you would know why and also the remarkable story behind it- which is rather a crucial part of Rory's character as the 'boy who waited'.
Not suprised you didnt take to the new lot watchig in random fashion as they have much more developments arcs than previous companions.
The suprises and twists work better too watched in the right order- unsuprisingly. If the suprise is the one I think you mean- from the Good Man Goes to War ep then you were supposed to have worked it out just before the big reveal- Moffat says he prefers giving the audience just enough to put it together right before the reveal rather than just pulling a solution out of left field from nowhere that there wa sno way to see coming like RTD did.

I dont have much choice about the order as its on Italian tv, they decide. and order is not their strongpoint, you should see them drive! yes it was the good man episode, directly followed by the hitler one, I dont know how many I have missed in between the castle and good man.

Mrs Figg you didn't mis any in between- GMGTW is right after the Rebel Flesh 2 parter- should be NIght Terrors then the Girl Who Waited up next-if they werent Italians- as is probably get a Tom Baker epiosde next!

Petty are you sure you are not part Guido, cos you are not making any sense, have I or have I not missed owt, and if I havent why o why is Rory the Boob wearing a girls skirt, he aint no hot Italian, ancient or otherwise.

The reason for Rory's attire and its meaning is in the finale to series 5- althought the finale to series 5 also ties in with loads of other episodes earlier in the series.

So we watched as far as through that really really horrible pirates episode.
