My great great grandfather Tyrant (the one with the coal scuttle the Banks clan stole-not forgotten Odo!) went on a quest to dark foreign climes in search of the Buckie Fountain of Eternal Drunkeness (with no hangovers). He never came back which has led to speculation he actually found the thing and is there still drunk as a skunk and doesn't want to share.

Reminds me of another of those Wholesome Tales I heard as a child - the one about your drunken forbear giving the McBankses that coal scuttle in exchange for a vat of Old Dark Scotsbuckie! Maybe, considering the number of tales on this subject, there was more than one coal scuttle the McTyrants gave my anscestors! Right length wrong sex!! Women cannot by defenition ever wear a kilt. Only males wear kilts. If a women puts on a kilt it automatically and mystically becomes a skirt- if a man wears it is a kilt. If a man wears a skirt he is forbidden from ever again wearing a kilt to save confusion and the drinks are always on him or his mates will bring up the skirt wearing thing. This isnt difficult you know!!

Mmmmm! Sounds like this 'making things up so I am right' habit men have! A skirt is a skirt is a skirt. And if there is no difference between the article of clothing for a man or a women it is the same thing, even if you insist on labelling it differently! Blokes!

Its not even close to the same thing. One is a kilt the other a skirt. Its as obvious as the exquisite nose on Queen Tin's face. Must be something wrong with sassencah eyes (or female ones). Those aren't even proper kilts, where's the over the shoulder bit? There no room in what those women are wearing to keep your buckie either (at least nowhere hygienic)- call that a kilt.

Most of the kilts scotsmen wear these days do not include the over the shoulder bit.....therefore they MUST be skirts!

I refer you to my previus reply. If a man is wearing it and its the right length it is a kilt. Even without the shoulder bit although I don't approve of that myself, its a modern fad not more than a couple hundred years old- hardly traditional.

Besides there is another simple test, only a certain type of women would wear a skirt without pants, but all men wear a kilt wihtout any. You have obviously never been to a Scots wedding in a kilt Kafria (well you can't obviouly as on you it would be a skirt). But every women you walk by tries to check I can assure you and this only gets worse as the buckie flows.

In my experience it is the blokes who want to flaunt - despite the protests of the women around them they only get worse as the buckie flows

I think you will find the amount of male flaunting is directly related to how much buckie they have under there.
