I'm looking forward to more Metal Gear footage, and hopefully a Star Wars game announcement by EA. Oh and a Halo 5 teaser, can't forget that.

EA demo just got stuck

The new name is going to be really confusing whenever people try to talk about the original Xbox now.

I wonder what the Halo tv show directed by Spielberg could be like. Very interesting.
When the girl said the name Halo, I was horribly afraid they were going to announce Halo 5 or something; far too early for that. It hasn't even been a year since Halo 4.

In case any of you wanted a quick recap of the presentation, I found this really concise and funny summary.

Halo 5 will be announced at E3, I honestly thought they'd announce it here. The release year is already 2014 confirmed, along with 6 in 2016.

I thought the console looked really nice and cool, updated controller looks great, and Kinect was amazing.

I don't understand the major backlash the internet is having though. The main thing people are hating on the console for is the fact that it can do other stuff besides play games. People are acting as if the fact that it can be used as a cable box diminishes its game capabilities. News flash, it doesn't. Its just a really cool additional feature. The thing has almost the same gaming specs as PS4, and it can do the Cable stuff, its not as if one limits the other.

There are plenty of other more legitimate things to be bugged by (used game fee, possibly high price point, 24 hr disconnection limit) but I guess those are just rumors.

Anyways, I thought that it was all really cool, and now I'm looking forward to the game announcements at E3, and hopefully tech demos.

And I'm indifferent on the name. I'm glad they're spelling 'One' out, cause having the number 1 would have been stupid. Not as cool as 'Xbox Infinity' but a million times better than '720' or 'Durango'.

The game line up will be the important part I think. I wonder how some of the t.v features will work in different places.

Clearly aiming at the US market again with the whole madden thing. Surprised they didnt do something with some of the big European football leagues as that would have been a big selling point.
