I like the lilting celtic instrumental background.

I had raved about the music for Midnight Diner, here's a short example.

So here's a guy geeking out over a Sesame Street song teaching how to count to 12.  Incredible rhythms and harmony, with vocals by the Pointer Sisters, no less.  Once you get the melody in your head it takes a hour to knock it back out.  (For me it took a video of an Irish girl claiming to "taste" Jack Daniels for the first time, and poured half a cup down her throat in one go like it was nothing.  Oh my, that drove the melody right out).

Oh I grew up with that song it is permanently lodged in my head. We had a Norwegian version of Sesame Street called Sesame Station (Sesam stasjon). 

Def not the Pointer Sisters singing, but still good.

I like the pop on '4', it's more than in the english version.

It's number one out of sentimentality - not up to the normal memorable standards. But it's good to have those two remaining get together and put something out.

{{ I enjoyed it, it's not one of their great classic hits, but I don't think if it had been produced at the time it was written it was meant to be, it'd slot nicely into an album though. And to my old crabbit ears it still sounds 1000% better than most of the autotuned drivel thats spews out the radio these days. }}

Before watching I already knew it was one of these Russian tykes. I still haven't figured out why the Russians haven't taken over the world: top of the game in the arts, mathematics, physics. What's keeping them from world domination?

Well I never. Always thought this was a Boney M song.

I always thought of it as a folk song, not attached to any single musician.
