"So" sounds almost like "saw", but the 'g' is hard and the 'e' sounds like the 'e' in "left". Soge means tale or story, by the way

How do you pronounce the 'e' in "left"? All I'm hearing is the 'f'.

Is it the 'e' in 'deed'?

Or the 'e' in 'dead'?

Or something else?
