As for the password issue.

They say the chance of you losing your password is immesurably larger from some malware than someone actually braking in to your house and finding them. So I'd say writing all your passwords down on a piece of paper without designating the relevant site might be the best solution.  

You could even make another note numbering the relevant passwords to the sites in another part of your house.

That sounds suspiciously like it requires effort and possibly even sobriety!
