Malick- well that sounds like the worst idea ever, even for Hollywood, and not like there isnt stiff competition for that.

Isnt the guy who played Bill (or maybe Ted) long since given up acting for directing and writing?

And what the hell would it be about- middle aged Bill and Ted? No thanks, whats the point?

'Star Wars producers have announced the name of the new stand-alone film, to be directed by Brit Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones.
Rogue One is the title of the first film in a series of big-screen adventures exploring characters from the core Star Wars saga.
No details have been released on the character to be played by The Theory of Everything star Jones.
Rian Johnson has been asked to write and direct Star Wars: Episode VIII.
The film - which will follow on from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, out later this year - will be released on 26 May 2017.'- BBC

its a raccoon and they can get quite vicious when backed into a corner. My dad has the scars to prove it. He tried picking up a small one to get us as a pet when me and my sister were kids. It didn't work out so well. Mama had other ideas

It can only be a good thing as far as I'm concerned, although I grew up watching the Originals almost every other week on video, I've never had a massive attachment to the franchise, they are just fun space films to me, so if they run the franchise into the ground eventually I wouldn't be too upset.

Disney may be a souless corporation, but they've been smart enough to let Marvel do their own thing, a shared cinematic universe; doesn't sound like a good idea for star wars, but the universe is so rich it would be a shame to limit things to just a few films, stand alones have the potential to be darker and more experimental than the core films, with Lucas out of the picture it would be nice to see other viewpoints on the saga.
