Re: Breaking Bad!
Just rewatched this one (twice
)
Has to be one of the best fan made vids I've ever seen, maybe the best. It's so well put together and the choices of scenes and music are excellent. Thanks again for posting it, Bungo, it's a great vid to go back to from time to time

Re: Breaking Bad!
Here's another good one that I don't think I've shared here. Bryan Cranston recorded the poem Ozymandias by Percy Shelley for promotional footage for the second half of the fifth season, and here a fan has added imagery from the episode that fit the poem.

Re: Breaking Bad!
Oh, Ringo, if you choose to watch Dexter I would recommend the first four seasons. After that, watch at your own risk.

That was great, almost haunting

Re: Breaking Bad!
There are 5 seasons, which may sound like a lot, or at least I thought it sounded like a bit too much before I started watching the show, but you'll soon enough start wishing there were 5 seasons more (though for reasons previously mentioned in this thread I'm glad it ended when it did). Absolutely worth starting

Re: Breaking Bad!
More good news for Better Call Saul!
Jeremiah Bitsui, the actor who portrayed Victor (Gus' guy) recently did an AMA on reddit.
When asked if he would be involved in Better Call Saul, he said yes!

Now we need Giancarlo Espositio!
Very excited for this.

Interview with Bob Odenkirk from IGN.

Nothing too earth shattering. Mainly just that the writers were basically considering all their options in terms of it being a prequel/sequel or a hybrid of the two.
(Personally I'm of two minds. I would like to see what happens to Saul in the future, but I don't want it to be set in Omaha of all places. ABQ (and New Mexico in general) provided a beautiful visual pallet and a lot of great cinematography, I don't want to lose that to a bunch of corn fields.

Haven't read the entire article yet, but it looks good, even if it is over a year old.

Re: Breaking Bad!
The pilot episode is definitely a great introduction. I was a little surprised by how the plot slowed down after that, but slow-paced is not a bad thing if it's done right (and BB definitely does it right).

When you get to the end of season 5 part 1 (the fifth season is split into two parts), you must go back some pages in this thread and watch the fan-made promo video for part 2, it's (that goes for you too, Eldo

Yes, Eldo, you HAVE to watch that video.
Also, how far are you? Made it through season 4 yet?

Re: Breaking Bad!
No, unfortunately my Breaking Bad viewing has stalled for the time being. I'll finish it, but I don't watch many long TV shows so I'm not used to seeing this much of a single story in one go and needed to take a break.
