It will be interesting to see how they play it Figgs- Tennant is a guest star really, Im still hoping and assuming the main emphasis of the story will be on 11.
Norc- would you not be cheaper seeing it in Glasgow?- or are flights about the same from Norway to Glasgow as to London?

haven't thought about that really, i just knew there were direct flights, but looking at it it was just some days and it didn't fit.

Both it seems.
Far as I can tell normal BBC 1 will show the 2d version- BBC3D will show the 3D one, and it will go round cinemas in 3D.
Its on TV at least on the anniversary- Saturday 23rd of November, 50 years to the day of the first episode broadcast.

Seems so.
Although the actual real anniversary special is in 3D- this just isnt it- its some clever editing, and some clever effects shots- although I am puzzled as to where they got some shots from, and some dialogue.
If it was genuine it would be on the official BBC Doctor Who site, but its not. Not even a mention of a trailer.

yes Boeing is the largest and oldest airplane manufacturer in America. They're based in Seattle not far from where I went to the University. I was a little surprised to see you posting about them.

As Norc said, there are Boeings in Norway too - the company Norwegian Air Shuttle has a number of Boeing aircraft (mainly of the 737 series, but as they are expanding they also, quite recently, acquired their first 787)

While we're on the topic of American aircraft in Norway - the Norwegian army operates a number of Lockheed Martin aircraft: Hercules, P-3 Orion and F16s (soon to be F35s). Additionally, there are the Bell 412 helicopters, also from an American manufacturer I believe.
