no just the lights Halfy. The waterfalls are real, as is the place. its called Plitvice in Croatia. I thought it looked a bit like Rivendell.

Wow some cool images here , Thanks to the posters. You know the imagery and sets are not the aspects of the film that proved to be the problem in doing justice to the story, as one could reasonably expect. It really is cool to see Rivendell and the shire etc... very well done at times.

Whoops, but I did want to add my 2cents on the Kili image.... wtf? the first time in the movie I saw him i thought who is that long haired man? I didn't even consider he was supposed to be a Dwarf. Thorin doesn't look like a Dwarf either of course but he kind of does but Kili I have just realized In my slow brain after seeing the picture here... that his sole purpose is to give the teenage girls out there something to like about the movie. Wow .... what a handsome dwarf... :S

Kili looks like a Ranger with big feet. Thorin looks like a heavy metal rock star. I imagine him singing the Ace of Spades more than the Misty Mountain song.

Its funny. I can watch FOTR 100 times and still love it. I saw the Hobbit once. and thats enough for me. I have no wish to see it again, unless in one of Pettys edits.

Kili is fine. And so's Thorin and Thranduil. I'll happily see it again. the movie. I liked it. Although, I can see some of the faults... :/

WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT????? It's such good quality, and, quite frankly, the best part of Smaug we've seene yet.
