Was watching an episode of The Thick of It and this line came up-for obvious reasons made me think of this thread.

For the norwegians. The only two places I could find a positive and quite good, and accurate and fair and honest review (unlike most others I've read who seem to just hang on to what everybody els said) was filmpolitiets (NRK)'s one and Aftenposten by Erlend Loe.

here is one that is more skeptical though it said purists will love it. Though it mostly just quotes what everyone els says and yeah.. and overall quite negative, though it seems the one who wrote it doesn't know what the hobbit is all about.

read them after you've seen the movie though. make up your own min first. it seems not all of the authors behind the articles did just that.

I know Amarie- get a friend to take your children to the police saying she found them alone and lost whilst you go to the see TH- then you go collect them after the film and say they ran away from their babysitter.
And as you switch off mobiles at the movies perfect excuse for why they couldnt get hold of you.
You get to see Th and your kids get an exciting night out in a police cell.

What exactly did he say? And was he comparing to book Aragorn or film?- as they are quite different.

It was a reference to movie Aragorn. He quoted Elrond's "Become who you were born to be" line, and continued with a few words about how each and every one of us must strive to become the best we possibly can.

I really loved it, and especially how he round it up at the end too

I think the King needs to fire his royal barber. Unless he's trying to emulate Aragorn's stubble as well as his destiny.
