I listened to The Stooges for the first time in years after they came up in my YouTube suggestions. I was introduced to Iggy Pop during a History of Rock class I took a few years back but I didn't remember much about him. I've really enjoyed what I've been listening to lately, though. Example:

Not a big bluegrass person but my brother has been teaching himself to play bluegrass guitar which means I've heard a fair bit of it recently. It's slowly growing on me.

This has to be the best song I've heard in literally years. It blends diverse musical styles from rap to dubstep, and it contains a sexually progressive message opposing traditional social mores. (Very NSFW)
