Nice!
So to continue about sail trim, in the top 3 pictures she's got her inner- and outer jibs and her mizzen staysail set and sheeted taut and slightly to port, so that they're slightly backwinded and serve as steadying sails. This dampens some of the roll on the vessel while motoring.
Those tall masts can act as massive pendulums when no sails are set, and the motion can be somewhat......unpleasant.... pale

You Brits and your daleks. An American would just tag the thing with a can of spray paint and move on.

The old school classic series daleks aren't quite as frightening when you realise the operators were essentially sat inside on a tricycle driving them around...come to think of it, has the series ever actually explained how the squid things inside the casings actually get inside? i mean can daleks actually do diy with those hands?

Enh, I don't feel they really sold it.  What's needed is a clear hook: if someone asks why to go Dunoon as opposed to anywhere else, the answer of "it's got mountains, it's got the sea, it's got bars..." doesn't give you any specific reason to go there rather than any other coastal town up against some mountains.

Got to say and show something like "there's this bike ride that can take you from [historical site with great backstory] then along the coast to [interesting pub] and from there you hike up to [beautiful overlook] to see the sunset with a dram of scotch picked up in [local purveyor who's shown talking about the production]".  Stuff like that puts images in your mind.

I just took a bunch of points off my students on their exams because I asked for examples of how writing a poor environmental impact assessment report can result in damage to the physical environment - and they were too vague. Like "Writing a poor EIS can result in extra pollution and damage to the environment."  They weren't happy with me but I think they needed a bitch slap as early in life as possible: specificity convinces people; vagueness gets you passed over.

Why the hell was that little dummy crawling straight towards the flames? Even over them.

Not sure why I've got the impression, but I'd think wildfires in the Australian bush would be even worse than California.
