Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Home made presents are the loveliest things you can receive ! Its often to easy to bung a tenner in a card or just go to the shop & buy "something". Home made is created with care & thought & that means more than any shop bought present any day !! Its often a thing that gets treasured for life !!

yep homemade is best. Even jumpers.
I don't have any presents. I would very much like £20,000 but that's not going to happen is it Santa?

Beautiful, Norc. One of my favorite hymns. Really makes me miss participating in Christmas concerts and performing holiday music.

- Spoiler:
- She's on the far side of the choir, second row from the front, next to the tall girl in the white dress. She's in the middle of the frame at about 1:25 in the video during the close-up.

Hahaha sssssh it's obvious i dont know what the hell i am doing also huffjuff is there too
Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Also the tall girl isn't that tall.. Just idk... Average. I am just short
Re: Holidays and absences [3]
That was lovely. (And don't worry, most of us have no idea what we're doing. (Some people are just annoyingly good at pretending. ))

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Now I am back after a nice christmas with my family and a stressful exam period. I hope you all have had a nice Christmas. Right now I am sitting on Oslo Airport waiting for the plane to leave for Florø. I am going back this early (I don't start school until 13th January) because I have work (I work as a bouncer at a pub (I do like it, thanks for asking)) and I am going to play a concert January 2nd. That is something I really look forward to! Can't wait to read all the AMUZING posts that has been written/commented on since I last were here.
Yours sincerely,
Me

Glad to hear that your Christmas went well, huffjuff. Hope that the concert and the bouncer job go well in the New Year.
Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Hello "me" Bouncer work eh ? Does it get very rough or are you Scandilandi's a more well behaved lot ? Will you have to dodge flying broken bottles & grab 6ft giants by the collar & say...."Your barred mate !"

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Happy new year! Nothing happened on the bouncerjob... Not a single fistfight. GAAAH!
The concert on the other hand was fantastic! We played our brassband-championship-piece "Lake of the moon". It was REALLY fun!

Vocal music from the high Renaissance has never been equalled. Later composers seem unable to recapture that feeling.

Too bad you're not a soprano, it would have been fun to see the expression on your face as you tried to hit those few high notes. Altos can get by with not knowing what they're doing: you just harmonize and nobody knows any better.

The blonde on the far right front row, long hair and black dress, looks slightly terrified. I think you're not the only one who didn't know what she was doing, Norc!

True! I sing countertenor, which means I sing almost as high as sopranos. It is really fun out-singing most altos and sopranos!

Are you the guy with the red bowtie? I usually think of counter-tenors as skinny, but that doesn't fit the bouncer type.

Recapture the feeling? No, but they've sure been able to top it.
