Too bad you're not a soprano, it would have been fun to see the expression on your face as you tried to hit those few high notes. Altos can get by with not knowing what they're doing: you just harmonize and nobody knows any better.
Every choir I've been in, or accompanied for, the alto section has always been the strongest, most prepared, and most well blended. Now, the tenors on the other hand....no comment.

Hahahhhahhahahhhhhhhhh... You could not have been wronger of me. I am a bouncer-type (like kind if big, but not fat). Really close on the bowtiedude. I'm right behind him!

How is that possible? What kind of New Year celebrations don't involve a fight?!

Hullo all from the Fjordian wilderness, and happy new year to everyone. Sorry I haven't been on alot lately (again). I spent new years with a bunch of friends in Poland (Warsaw), which turned out to be four days worth of drinking and gambling. In other words, all went according to plan We made reservations for a table at the hotel's skybar for new year's eve - a truly memorable party I have few memories of The beers, drinks and booze kept coming, as well as the most delicious lamb chops I'll ever eat. I'd post pictures, but I don't think I'll find any "safe" ones Hope you all enjoyed your holidays as well, and hopefully I'll be around more often soon.

People say its at New Year that you remember people who may be lost in some way, for me, its at Christmas when I think of people Ive known, people who have walked a different path. People here who have gone & we still hope they are ok ?

Hear hear Az! Best wishes to all of those people. I do worry about Ally. Hopefully Kafria is just busy, while Lorient should be done with his Mormon missionary time, but it's been so long he may have other interests.

In New Orleans for a Conference right now. The place is more alive than I've ever seen it!
For temporary health reasons I have to limit my alcohol consumption, so put a limited amount of money in my pocket and headed out. But I don't want to go to bed!

You mean you're going to visit New Orleans without getting bourbon-faced on Shit Street?
Re: Holidays and absences [3]
If I didn't have this little nuisance problem I would, as I have done nearly a half dozen times in the past. Hopefully it will clear up soon.

I hope your health issue is resolved forthwith.
Glad to see you're at least still out and enjoying the party!

You have to understand, I'm here for a whole week. If I don't keep myself throttled down who knows what could happen.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
I tried to play that second video but it's marked as private, which is only making me more curious.
Re: Holidays and absences [3]
What happens in the French Quarter stays in the French Quarter, apparently.

It says "private" for me to. I also am curious ? Dodgy dealings in the broom cupboard with an over eager mop by any chance ?

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
That's odd, I didn't set it for private. I went back and it's definitely set for public now. so try it again.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Oh my! Good times were had there I see.
I'm inside and seated on a warm couch, but just outside it is quite cold indeed; I'm spending a week at my ancestral home in Minnesota!
Today I went hiking, despite the chill, and was quite ignored by a little muskrat down by the nearly-frozen-over stream, who was chewing off dry bits of some grass and bringing it down to the waterside to eat. But of course the stupid camera's battery died, so I didn't get a picture.

Re: Holidays and absences [3]
A bit late to be posting this but my dad just sent me this pic he took of me and his dog Peaches on Christmas morning. I put the bow on her head and he got the shot just in time before it fell off.
Re: Holidays and absences [3]
Blimey We go from cute kid with cat to grown man with a nasty rash of fungus ! Nice little dog That name, "peaches" suits her. I thought the pup I got would wreck my Christmas tree this year but, he didnt. The cats last year destroyed it well & truly. It was so funny to watch that in the end I let them get on with it

Hey there Eldo!
Real-life pictures always take me by surprise, no matter what! I remember there was a thread on the LotRO forums specifically for Real-life Pictures and putting faces to some of the random names that you'd see in PvP zones and leading raids and what-not was surreal.
