About 5 years ago. I volunteered we could all show up, troop in, and lay out bedrolls in your living room. Thought your parents would be delighted you met all these people online as a teenager and immediately invited them over. You disagreed with my assessment.

Yes, it will be combined with a summer picnic now.
If I were to list all my pc woes of late it would sound like a farce. It is a bloody farce Mad

I;ve lost 3 HD in a row now and I'm on my fourth Evil or Very Mad

The last one died last week (I was posting form a crappy laptop all week until I got a replacement drive and windows reinstalled on it).
This is also why Amarie's birthday NotP never appeared- I just finished making all the page templates for the new look and lost the lot and I was so scunnered I've been in a crabbit sulk about since and haven't had the heart to restart it all again. Sad

For the awards I still need to reinstall all the programs I need to finish making them- Adobe premiere pro and Hitfilm being the main two.

It will happen though, when I get my mojo back.

Every time the possibility of a family vacation to England comes up I'm always sure to say that I'll want at least half a day to try to meet up with forum people. I dunno how feasible it is to coordinate people from multiple different countries flying in for the same day/weekend but it is a very exciting thought! Very Happy

This would be perfect if we did this in the fall, I'll be in Bath for 3 months! I'm already planning a Tolkien themed trip!

I remember a few years ago I almost went to a reddit meetup in my local area. About a week before it happened a handful of redditors from out of town happened to notice me browsing reddit in a public place. They made a big deal out of it and one asked me "When does the narwhal bacon?" Neutral

Suffice it to say, I didn't go to the meetup.

I'm sure you guys are great people, I'm just not sure if I'd want to meet any of you in real life. Laughing
