Not so crabbit now!

I had my braces removed this morning (this was the second time I've had them) and I've been chewing gum almost continually since then. Including the rubber bands and the palette expander I had to wear it's been about nine months since I've been allowed to chew gum. I bent the rules about caramel and some other chewy food but I toughed out the gum despite reeeeeally missing it. The first thing I did after getting the braces off was to go buy several packs.

i feel with you, although i find chewing gum, as long as you don't take too much, works well enough with braces. i just had new brackets on all my lower teeth today. it hurts a bit. though i have stayed away from soda, tea, coffee and juice, i only drink milk, water and green tea. like, i don't want discolouring also, i eat less candy and less inbetween meals since the rubber bands break (like i only change them when like breakfast, lunch, dinner and when i brush my teeth) so.. not that it was a problem before.. but this routine is killing me xD anyways.. oh, and i am totally nazi about brushing teeth. like.. i have three toothbrushes, mouthwash and i don't use whitening toothpaste this is also my second time.. been doing this for ten years with a break of two though.... i am so sick of braces!

that was my way of saying i envy you so much! now smile!!!!!!

I've been smiling quite a bit. I am grateful for the braces, they've helped me a lot. I inherited my mom's family's genetic tradition of dental problems.

Hi guys! Long time no see! I've just been so busy and I've felt like I didn't have time to catch up with everything! But, today, I had to return to share so etching with you. My friend just asked me to our senior prom by opening up to Beren and Luthien in his really old copy of the Silmariillion with the word "prom" written in that Tolkien font!!!!!!! My favourite hing about that pic is the look on the guys face nearest the camera- he can barely keep in the inner crabbit off his face at having to be an honour guard to a penguin.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather have a penguin as a king than just the luckiest twig of the incestuous family tree of European royalty. It's not like modern kings have that many responsibilities. I'm sure you could train a penguin to preside over ceremonies and wave at people.

remember the purpose of the President of the Galaxy in Hitch-hiker's guide to the Galaxy? I think Royalty can fill the same role, but they are too tighty-britches to do the job properly.
