this thread is for those warm and cuddly christmas stories from this christmas or previous 
Warm hugs to everyone out there celebrating! Have fun, spend time with friends and family, eat and drink well, take care and enjoy life!!
I'll be spending Christmas Eve out on the country side, well, by the sea, and no internet. We'll drive off soon. I'll check in later and share what i got for christmas.

I love Christmas but unfortunately I've been busy with both work and personal stuff and so I haven't gotten the chance to really soak in the season much. Still hoping for a pleasant day on the 25th and keeping my fingers crossed for next year.

The weather is terrible (i.e English) I'm working Xmas Eve, Boxing Day and possibly New Year's Eve as well *grumbles* so I'm not feeling in the most festive of moods this year, but hey ho money is money, and it's a fun time of year.

The weather here hasn't really decided wether it's raining and snowing yet. It'll decide on raining soon enough I guess. Still, it's Christmas so I wont grumble.

I have to work tomorrow. But I have Wednesday through Saturday off. So I am going to enjoy my holiday to its fullest extent.
I have plans on Thursday to spend it with my brother. We went shopping for presents the other night. The mall was insane. We always put gift shopping off til the last minute, and we don't really buy into the commercial aspect of Christmas. Plus it's always tough to think of what to buy Mom and Dad. Oh, well, just another year of being disappointing offspring.
I'd really like to recapture the magic of Christmas as what it was like when I was a kid. It's tough. I want to enjoy the holidays, but they usually just end up making me depressed, like Charlie Brown.

I don't think you should be worried about the not religious part. There's no reason you can't enjoy great religiously inspired art all the same. You don't avert your eyes when you go past Nidarosdomen do you?
