Re: Just...................whatever [3]
I am about Petty... lots going on everywhere at the moment. The only time I had to myself was the train journey but I bricked my phone and only just had it repaired.
Commuter hell is no different to normal for me today. Luckily I don't have to get across London, just to the outskirts.

It's certainly hard to imagine them as the friendly giants they are in a moment like that, isn't it.

I found this a great example of how sociable animals that size can be. Though it's a whale, not a shark.

Re: Just...................whatever [3]
Two things come to mind for me about that vid Blue, one is, if whales are SO big & there are a few of them, then think how deep the sea is not good for me who's scared rigid of wet stuff. 2nd, I get teary eyed wishing certain people would just fooking leave, not just whales but, magority of animals alone ! Its their planet to & they were here before us.

Re: Just...................whatever [3]
Yeah, it's amazing that despite their size they've retained that unmistakably mamaly quality of sociability and playfullness.
I would recomend the series it's from, for anyone interested. It's called Last chance to see and is based on a trip Douglas Adams and the other guy, a naturalist called Mark Cowardine, went on twnty years ago to try and find some of the animals in the world most in danger of extinction. And Cowardine and Stephen Fry retrace their steps 20 years later to see how those animals are doing now.

I live so close to work that the elevator ride is a significant fraction of my commute. And I can literally put water on to boil, pop across the street to buy some spaghetti and the timing will be about right to throw it in when I get back. Lots of things to complain about in this big-ass city, but navigating distances isn't one of them.

Re: Just...................whatever [3]
I suppose that is until you want to go across it!
People I work with take as long getting across London as I do getting in to it from 40 is miles away.

Re: Just...................whatever [3]
I was bored yesterday... started making it and then thought what Petty would be thinking if it were part of the film and then thought what magic PJ would come up with to sort Petty out..... so boredom really.
Re: Just...................whatever [3]
No chance of one where I get to blow PJ up is there and throw the Coven in Mt Doom? (If only Id thought to do that at the start it would have saved a lot of pain)

Competing Petty versus Jackson and co gifs.
The mind boggles.

Re: Just...................whatever [3]
Had had a sore finger from my laptop's mouse pad yesterday (had to draw about 40 frames for that - up yours WETA) so I won't be creating a 'Petty's retribution' gif any time soon!
Re: Just...................whatever [3]
baddest-b00ty:
egberts:wordsmythologic:dudeegberts:Ah, yes but emordnilap is a word!im really pissed that palindrome isnt palindrome backwards
An emornilap is any word that, when spelled backwards, produces another word. Examples of emordnilap pairs include:
- desserts & stressed
- drawer & reward
- gateman & nametag
- time & emit
- laced & decal
- regal & lager
And therefore “emordnilap palindrome” is an emordnilap palindrome.
Which I, for one, think is really frickin’ cool.
My mind
It’s fucked

I've trolled people and I've smacked down trolls as a moderator. People have called me an asshole, sociopath, and fascist for doing both of those things.
