4 different types! You guys and your odd ways. The last time I drank, I paid €20 for all I could drink for 2 hours. There were a lot of drinks that I had never had before that I tried along with the ones I was well versed in.
Unfortunately, I still remember everything but even then I didnt get a hangover. Seems I was immune to those.

I suppose so. You must build up to such things. I was in my early 20s when that night came to pass.
Although from what I have since... that kind of night is the average initiation for an 18 year old. That and being part of some kind of group video.

no I am not missing Italians, thats one consolation for the crap weather, I do like the English as a people, I missed the humour and the politeness when I was abroad. Italians like Benny Hill humour.

Yup Celebrity Juice- a show based around the idea of a humorous pervert celebrity stalker and getting day time tv host Holly Willoughby to say cock as often as possible or dressing her up as a schoolgirl.
We've come a long way.

I think he was being sarky, just a hunch.
But we also have intelligent and humourous people now like Stephen Fry so the argument that its not evolved since Benny Hill hardly stands up to scrutiny.

Hello, leelee, it's 14:24 pm here
How are you these days? I noticed you were back here a few days ago, but I've not "met" you, so to speak, in that many threads yet. Could be because I've been staying out of the hobbit movie section lately in order to distance myself a little from the films, in the hope that I won't be too disappointed in December. Time will tell whether the strategy works or not
Right now I'm off to get some excercise - I've been watching Breaking Bad all day, and I'll have to do something soon to earn that dinner

Re: Just...................whatever [3]
The last three months seriously kick the rest of the year's ass when it comes to holidays. You've got Halloween in October, Thanksgiving in November, and Christmas in December all in a row, and then New Year's to wrap everything up.

Re: Just...................whatever [3]
Thanksgiving shmanksgiving. We have all our made up events earlier in the year so no more holidays until xmas now.
Re: Just...................whatever [3]
Work is always busy this time of year, but it's almost over
. The holidays do help balance things a bit.

"From him they learnt many things it were not good for any but the great Valar to know, for being half-comprehended such deep hidden things slay happiness; and besides many of the sayings of Melko were cunning lies or were but partly true, and the Noldoli ceased to sing, and their viols fell silent upon the hill of Kôr, for their hearts grew somewhat older as their lore grew deeper and their desires more swollen, and the books of their wisdom were multiplied as the leaves of the forest."
