Watched the rest of it last night. Its really good. Some pretty moving stuff in there, good and bad. Would be an interesting project to do in 2060 to see what life is like.

are humans still evolving? I mean will we look the same in another 10,000 years? I wonder what houses will look like and transport or the weather maybe we will live underground due to mega storms.

Because of good medicine the natural selection pressures are less, so bad mutations may not be weeded out and I think we'll get weaker and 'uglier' (according to current standards), with technological advances in medicine, cosmetics and cosmetic surgery balancing it out somewhat. I'm pretty sure that has already happened, but it's hard to compare past to current due to the effects of different diet and disease effects. Yet I believe if you took an average sample from the middle ages to live in the modern world (inoculated against all modern disease) they would be hardier than a modern average sample.

Right now the upper crust seems to have less children than the less economically successful.  Given current socio-economics, we will look less white/east asian. (china contributing by fiat rather than economics).  Not sure how long that particular trend will last, but I think the current situation will have a long term impact on the average appearance.

I dont think we will see any major changes until we sort out things like poverty and the like. I imagine that certain areas of the gene pool make small strides in terms of brain evolution, but the wider gene pool dilutes it. Until all of the gene pool are at that level, I can't see any major changes.

what about genetic engineering weeding out diseases and deformities? You may be able to choose what your offspring looks like, or their intelligence if you are relatively well off. If we dont need muscle strength due to labour saving devices, or if we are living in off planet colonies we may have weedy bodies and big heads. They may engineer night vision or lizard eyes with an inner eyelid if the sun is too hot. Or if there is pollution larger noses to filter crap. its weird stuff.

It means there's a technical problem with the site.  If you were banned, you'd probably get a message telling you of that, unless the site was configured to try to trick people who were IP banned into thinking the site doesn't work.  But I've visited the site on both my landline and mobile Internet connections and got the same message, so that isn't the case.  This isn't the first time Bree has gone down due to technical troubles, after all.
