The YouTube thread [2]
Well, you should be able to tell from the video that I was playing it... however I did it before I got my Pro Tools set up so you cant actually hear me playing.
Re: The YouTube thread [2]
You are very talented ! I was impressed, (I guessed by the guitar you had,it was you, but, had to be sure ! )

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
I have been playing for a long time... there are a lot of guitar players far more talented than I am that have been playing a lot less time. I don't like practicing so never really got too good.
Re: The YouTube thread [2]
Yeah ? & theres people out there that can draw/paint better than I, even tho I was set up to go to Art College, I didnt keep practising either Yer good ! What guitar have you got ? (make etc)

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
The guitar in the video is an Ibanez (for Norc and Petty...it's the same one I used for the 2 'I am the doctor' pieces).
I have a few others but I got rid of my favourite one a while back and regretted it ever since!!
But thanks for your comments... nice to hear (or read).

is it idiot proof? cos I aint exactly au fait with technology. I have a camera which in theory takes video thingies instead of photos. But I have never used it on that setting.

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
Thanks figgy. Did you see the other one I posted?
The 'spy hole' is probably a webcam and you probably have software on your laptop to allow you to record on it.
If not, you should just give that setting on your camera a try. Im sure it is as simple as pressing the shutter button to start and stop recording.

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
whats a videofile? yes I really am that much of a numpty. I have a small compact camera with a button for taking videos (I think) I will play around with it and see what happens, but once its on my camera do I download it like I do for say, photobucket? no clue really how to downoad it on Utube. I will try opening an account.

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
You can set up a gmail account which allows you to sign up for youtube. Once you have done that you can start uploading videos in a similar way to photo bucket.
Re: The YouTube thread [2]
arg! I tried the so called video thing and its crap, it just takes a panoramic shot, it not a real video. so its no go.

Re: The YouTube thread [2]
You got a mobile phone with a camera Mrs Figg?
Failing that maybe you can make a pinhole camera- thats 1850's tech (and Scottish!) you should know all about it.

You are always making promises Mrs Figg and then never fulfill them!
(But if you do on this one, bring some eel oil, I think I may need it )
