I thought it was godawful at the time and still do.
Never got what the fuss was about, cheap, badly written, not a new idea in it, a ludicrous resolution and so US patrotic it actually made the cinema smell of mom's apple pie (always wondered US hobbits is that last one a suspicious euphemism?
