Hey back off Halfwise- there's only one of us following a garter belt trail here and its me! Besides what more fitting way to end the long Tyrant/Banks feud than a marriage and an act of love (not necessarily in that order). Certaily inheriting the Banks immense wealth would be more a burden than a pleasure, but I shall strive to do the right thing and bear up.

How dare you Mrs Figg! The merest inkling of the slightiest specualtion had not even begun to form in my mind to such an end (well maybe the bit about her end ).
I have merely been appointed trustie of the will and young Diamond has quite rightly showed an interest in the contents of my buckie barrel and kilt. Given her unfortunate losses and state of grief it would be ungentlhobbty of me to not offer her a shoulder to cry on {{and with any luck more besides }}.
So I will not stand for my character being impuned like this and wild assertations put forward about my desires towards assets or assess.

RESPECTABLE JOURNAL CLOSURE

Due to the death of our last subscriber (the Late Mister Odo Banks, Esquire) The Archet Bugle reports that we will no longer be reporting on important (respectable) Forumshire matters. That horrid (and popular) rag NotP has won the day.

The Staff of The Bugle would like to thank those who were loyal to this learned journal over the years, but as Odo's stone dead, there appears to be no point.

The Banks clan deaded and now this??????

Its not loking good Mrs Figg- I hear that the NotP is already preparing a special commerative issue for tomorrow celebrating and commemorating the Banks clan.
However there may be some good news- I understand that thanks to some buckie deal the wiizards have with the Halls of Mandos there is a chance that some of the Banks may return to us- sort of, maybe, in some form or another- the buckie wizards were a bit, vague, about that bit- suspicously so now I come to think about it.

I'm still here, but I'm afraid that it is because I am a North-Banks of Large Cleave. The current affliction appears to be affecting only the degenerate South-Bankses of Ozhobbitstan. {{{Based on my knowledge of the South-Banks, it was likely contracted from farm animals! }}}

And oh, dear Petty, do feel free to drop me a line any time.

This is all so sad, but one should always look to the brighter side. People may not know this - in fact, I'm sure you dont - but I am Odo's natural born daughter, Anne Dashing-Banks, of West Kimberley. My Mother, Sheilah Dashing, was an art student at The Kimmberley College for Miners Daughters of which Odo was a Respectable Patron. You see, Mummy and Odo fell in love one night - just the one - and then I came along.

Please note: I will be attending any Family Commemoration Service and, of course, the Reading of Odo's Will - Daddy would not want some Cleave-of-the-North taking up my inheritance...

Oh yes.... and Uncle Rupert's ashes ---- could you please see I get them back, Mister Petty, Sir. I would take that to be a great kindness on your part. You see, I'm am a forgivng lass, and I forgive you already for burning up my beloved Uncle.

Ahh about the ashes- you see it didnt occur to me anyone would want them and I was a bit angry at the time, so I put them in the pig swill on Daves farm- so if there is anything left of Rupert it will be in the compost heap by now.

Mummy told me the Bankses always had good cause to despise the McTyrant Clan. Not that I would seek to continue that feud, Mister Tyrant, or try to destroy each and every one of you. Daddy was by all accounts rather incompetent in all his efforts to do that, and I would never make the mistakes he made - friend...

I assure you Anne I gracefully accept your proffered hand of friendship {{{until I can work out how to get you out the picture at least}}} and hope you will be attending at tomorrows (Sunday's) reading of the will of Odo Banks esquire.
