yeah, my plans exactly. My dog and I have escaped into my room and put the heater on. friggin cold and I can't be bothered to lgiht up the fireplace, as it takes forever to warm up the entire house.

I am glad that didnt happen personnaly- ok I could have borne it as aChildren in Need Special- as they are short.

Regenration scenes- all different yet all the same. More often played for laughs with a disorientated Doctor, he always comments on his face, initaially negatively then more positively, his memory is usually temprally frazzled, and he has extra strength and energy to burn for a bit making him hyper.

Heres the new 4th Doctor, having forgotten he was UNITs Special Advisor and newly regenrated.

Time to celebrate the fact there is less than a month to go until the most important holdiay of the year- the broadcast of the Doctor Who xmas special.

Hows your cover of I am the Doctor coming on Norc? Would be great to have it for inclusion in this years Awards Ceremony (hint, hint)

Almost forgot, this years xmas ep trailer-

Yup they are in the trailer. Look like typical Who xmas fare to me.
Got to remember its audience, especially xmas day, goes from about 4 years old and ends about 100. They seem a perfectly suitable xmasy, fairystory style nasty to have therefore.

Not being a Who fan I can't comment much, but it looks pretty goofy to me. To be fair, so do Daleks, but this just seems like a different level. I've never seen a Who Christmas Special though (no, this is not a request for you to link me to 20 different specials from previous years ).

I already linked to the last two a page back Eldo- no need! (You should watch though- good xmas fun).

This is what I like about Who- it can be serious and heavy and deal with big issues, or it can be silly and ridiculous and fun- its that versatility of the format and characters that have seen it last 50 years.

xmas eps tend to be lighter, more of a romp, and to tug at the hearstrings a bit before a happy ending- just what you want when your stuffed with xmas turkey and mince pies.

I have to admit that does look fun.

Keeping in the xmas spirit heres Abigails Song from A Christmas Carol sung by Kathrine Jenkins (who plays Abigail).

The xmas ep sees the return of three charcaters last scene in a Good Man Goes to War. Looking forward to seeing them all again as they were excellent last time.

Commander Strax (to get the humour for those who dont know their Who think cloned Klingons- Klingons are just a rip of Sontarans- the whole honour, war thing- Strax however is a nurse, as a penance)







Madame Vastra and 'companion' (and yes that is both a Thunderbirds reference and a cunnilingus joke in one episode- ahh Moffat!)
