There's been some flooded basements and roads, and mud slides?.... avalanches... whatever, jordras, and a hell of a lot of rain. Hope the we don't get any trouble.

Good luck! We're coming into that season too, but so far all the Big Weather has passed above us.

Supposedly it'll get even worse today. Also Trøndelag will apparently get quite badly hit, so hope your hanging in there Ringo.

Yeah.. We had some of it though i was mostly inside a bus or at orchestra pracise we traveled with the chamber orchestra to finnsnes (a bit south i think) and played with a chamber orcestra from arkangelsk. We played a northern-norwegian suite. It was recorded because it's gonna be used by others and yeah it was fun i sat at the front of the violas and was group leader also there will be a vidoe which i will post as soon as it reaches youtube

Thanx i've played violin for 13 years and viola for six sooo.. It's nice to have some payoff finally

We played norwegian music from this region, målselvhalling, kulokk (when u call your cows) string-game a lullaby and.. Erm... I don't remember them all, but there is a video and a proper recording so when the video comes around i'll try and share it

Great! It seems to be an instrument a lot of people struggle with.

I don't play a classical instrument to my fault. But my father works at Den Norske Opera, so I've listened to quite a bit.

Even sat in the orchestra pit for some Monteverdi pieces. Though doing a menial job, belgetreder, it's a real special experience.

Ooh, how cool well, it's not the easiest instrument to learn that's for sure but it's 90% practice, 9% patience and 1% talent

Also, just to get of topoc for two minutes and ten seconds

This is not us but it is the målselvhallingen

The very faint remnants of the storm seem to have reached Oslo. I just walked to the store which is two minutes away, and I'm tolerably wet on returning.

So can't image how you guys must have had it.

we faintly had the storm, i was weather-stuck for like half an hour  wind at 30 meters per second, although it was over pretty soon afterwards.


i was at solidarity-concert for the Philippines (is that spelled right? ) the newspaper wasn't late  with putting up a vid  makes our storm seem irrelevant...

Wow! Well we certainly had nothing like that. I blame my rain jacket mainly it has a unfortunate habbit of letting in water.

or you could just post a picture  no.. joking... i also posted a video, well..pictures with added sound, of a recording of an orchestra i was in.. i was also just barely in it..  funny these things.. i never seem to be on pictures or videos of these things.. bad karma i guess.. not even when i am in the front!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Though I still blush a bit when I think of how finacially well remunerated I was when they sent that on television. As I basically sat there and didn't do very much.  

It was great fun though, with an italian barouque orchestra and all.
