Post your favorites! Even when a movie is crap it can still have some pretty awesome music. Cool

Possibly more to come. Smile

Ringdrotten wrote:Now I want to see Pulp Fiction again Very Happy

This thread has served a good purpose already, then! Very Happy Although, much as I love Pulp Fiction, I like Inglourious Basterds at least as much if not more. Blasphemy, I know, but I think the "once upon a time, in Nazi-occupied France" setting pulled me in. Also, David Bowie. Razz

(The Assassination of Jesse James)

I'd never really heard of this movie before I saw you mention it here for the first time a while back, but I've been wanting to see it for a while. Unfortunately it's been pushed back since I've been watching more new films but it's still on my list, I swear! Laughing The Nick Cave song is great too; I really like the little of his music that I've heard. Smile

(Gladiator)

I have to admit that this film, while good, wasn't my favorite, but the soundtrack is excellent. I didn't know it was Hans Zimmer. I think he's done great work on some of my personal favorite films, including Pirates of the Caribbean and Inception. Also, the theme for The Dark Knight merits a mention. Cool

Great song, at the very least! Very Happy I've only heard of this movie before in the context of Ben Kingsley being in it, but he's great and my curiosity has now further been piqued. Smile

Why yes, now that you ask, I may have started this thread partially to get an idea of good films and soundtracks to seek out in the future. cheers

I've got mixed feelings about Gladiator too, but all in all I enjoy it and the music is great Smile

Got a ton more, these are the ones I thought up off the top of my head. I also liked the music from Juno and Little Miss Sunshine. Very Happy

I really enjoy the books; nearly finished A Feast For Crows now. Watched the first two episodes and my main reaction was; were there really this many nude scenes in the book? I mean I know there's graphic detail in all of the books, but there seemed to be happening all the time! To be honest I can't remember that many sex scenes in AGOT, I mean they weren't in every single chapter. I'll have to get round to watching the rest of them, but I find it much more uncomfortable watching excessive nudity and sex, than however frequent they occurred in the books! Mad

Nothing wrong with the intro though, 'tis great. Very Happy Very Happy

You just need to make sure there's still an closing quote tag like this: [/quote]. I took the liberty of editing one into your previous post; I assume that the closing tag was accidentally deleted when you removed the latter part of the post you wanted to quote. That happens to me sometimes. Wink

thanks for posting the Harry Potter Eldo I always get a bit teary when I hear that music, I really really really want to go to Hogwarts. Sad I love you I wish Pottermore would open to the public, I have been waiting ages to see it and I heard its spectacular.

I agree about the music; I have a lot of really good memories about that song from throughout my childhood. Smile There's a lot of good Harry Potter music; I might post some more if I can narrow it down to just a few favorites, for now here's just one though. Laughing

I managed to just barely sneak into Pottermore before early registration closed, although I had to wait a month or two to get full access. It has some pretty neat aspects and I loved the wand selection and especially being sorted (I got Ravenclaw, as I hoped/expected! Very Happy). There are a lot of issues they're still trying to iron out though so I lost a lot of interest after being sorted. On the other hand, the new material from J. K. Rowling about the story is pretty sweet when you find it. Cool

Wow that was lucky I believe there were only 1 million or so allowed in to use the Beta whatever that is, when you think about it 1 million is not so much when there must be many millions who want to see it, wow I really want to see it now, the wand choosing in Diagon Alley sounds fab and I hope I would get into Ravenclaw too or Gryffindor, as they have the best ghost. I wonder if there is the Sorting Hat too?
