Barnamir here. I picked Barnamir as a handle because I have been called Barney since I was born (though it is a nickname). I have been Barnwood, Barnicle, Barndog among others and between different friends. So when I think about posting on a Tolkien Forum it seemed right.

One of my friends read the books when I was in 5th grade. He tried to get me hooked. I watched the Hobbit cartoon which while hating most of the art I liked the story. Years later in college I read Hobbit and LOTR and Sim. I loved the films. Though I prefer the story from the books.

I have heard this forum mentioned on other sites so I figured I would check it out.
