Yeah, I've never been much of a royalist but I can imagine how heartbreaking it would be to loose you spouse after almost 74 years together

It was sad to see her alone. she looked so frail & lost. I didnt see her as a Queen, I saw her as a little lady who had lost the love of her life after so many years It seems odd to say but, I thought it was a lovely funeral. I think its going to hit her hard when she has to return to Buck house ?

it was a beautiful ceremony, the music was stunning, I kept it together until I heard the Scottish bagpipe player slowly walking off through the castle hall and the haunting music slowly faded.
It seemed like his soul was drifting off to heaven.  

Wonder if the gorilla would have cradled it if given the chance?

We have places in the central states that sometimes get these huge bug infestations like that last one. Harmless critters themselves but there's nothing you can do with a big mass of them.

Oz may be a wonderful place, lots of amazing things to see but ---- EVERYTHING wants to kill you. I bet they even have sabre toothed hamsters. Theyre nocturnal, like a bloody vampire. one bite & its all over --

so what is it with British adverts? not only do they look like piss-take Coke adverts from the 70s, now some of them have ear-piercing whistles at the end of the advert. The MacDonalds, Cinch Cars, and another one about farmers has the most irritating and painful final whistle which makes me cringe and cover my ears. Adverts are normally louder than normal programming so why on earth are they doing this? F-ing idiots. Dont kow if other Brits have noticed this?

We don't have those whistles and I hope we never do. Wouldn't it make more sense to have them at the beginning to get people's attention?

I stream British TV so I get everything, bad, good and ugly. But the whistles are moronic, we aren't dogs. I have hearing problems and it is actually painful if I forget to mute them. I have complained to the ASA, not that anything will change.
