Of course Scottish seagulls can be a bit crabbit not keen on having their photo taken



After a bit of eyeballing each other it looked like it was considering a square go!



So I left that one alone And took some pictures of another beautiful Scottish spring day!







Then as most of that was just various hues of grey I went back to annoying seagulls again
So they all flew away }}

So proud of my brother.  He's found his deconstructionist niche.

I see a bluish/purplish tint to the fur. Is that what you actually see or is it a camera/monitor bias?

is it an elk?

It's a deer.

Edit: I thought over there in Europe you guys used "elk" for what I'd call a "moose"? Has that changed?

Either way, that's not a red deer,



Which is the closest thing they have in Scotland to what I'd call an elk.

No deer last night at work just a moon and some dramatic 'spring' skies on the walk home. }}

Sun is out today! About time after the grey, drizzly week we have had down here. Taking doggies to the woods later so might find some pics to upload.

If skies are clear this week I might try some night photography with some new bits I just bought!

We can see roe deer & sika deer running wild & free in the Ashdown Forest, about 30 miles from where I live. Ive only been thru the Forest a few times & I get a real buzz when I see the deer. I think they are lovely & nothing beats a stag with full antlers, standing proud

Went for a walk along the promenade today- not exactly sunny spring day, but not completely grey or cold either. So an improvement, I suppose

Always liked looking at this hill when going over in the ferry as a youngster, used to imagine it was just the sort of place hobbits would call home (but without the transmitter mast).

Fishing boat, its mainly shellfish round here.

I feel like that also living so close to The Downs, that its Hobbitty Ive noticed the bees, butterflies & other bugs are coming out...

Never knew witches could swing their hips like that.
