Also, luckily this sweet deal also spares us the agony of watching the Shire try to sprout wisdom about um the birds and the bees.    We've got the wholesome tales for that dammit!

Some thoughts about this term:

"Sexual and/or pornographic content"

Pornographic obviously has a clear meaning:

"constituting or resembling pornography"

and we can understand pornography as:

"the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement "

Now as a term, sexual, in a plain word reading, has considerably wider connotations, as can be seen in the following definitions:


"1 : of, relating to, or associated with sex or the sexes

   sexual differentiation

   sexual conflict

2 : having or involving sex

   sexual reproduction"

Now the first definition shows a multitude of things that are not "intended to cause sexual excitement" per se. I therefore belive we must go with the second understanding, read in context of the term "pornographic". It is mainly depictions, whatever form that depict sexual situations and the depiction aims to cause "sexual excitement". And that this is what the term is directed at. Now this must be understood broadly, as sexual exitement is not a consistent standard, apples and oranges if you will. Further, sexual writing, images etc can be used as much for shock value, or ridicule as for excitement, but I would argue it uses the same kind of material, just for a different purpose. The material rather than the purpose should be he defining feature.

In that context, it seems odd that innuendo should be covered by this term. It does not aim to sexually excite or shock, rather to amuse. And, fundamentally, it is not sexual or pornographic in itself. Futher, I do not think the picture posted by norc on the last page can be covered, as it is not exactly meant to sexually excite, but rather to educate.

Spouting wisdom about the birds and the bees would then be allowed, as such descriptions does not have the aim to sexually excite.

Well Blue, I don't know how the hosts would handle the clitoris. We don't have that kind of relationship. The members here expect to be treated as adults, and adults know that rules excist in all areas of life, and that there are consequenses for breaking them. It's against the social rules here to mention rules, so people will (edit: may) feel justified at making any sort of responce as a reply.
