I don't agree that a medieval battle hasn't been properly put on screen. Branagh's Henry V did a good job of it.

Henry V looks like Blackadder compared to this battle. Shocked this is the Mediaeval version of the first 5 minutes of Saving Private Ryan.

"Accurate medieval battle".
The troops weren't nearly colourful enough to be medieval! They were a bunch of browns and greys! Where were the flashy bits?? Mad  Bloody amateur historical revisionists!

Oops I forgot which thread I was in... It's good that the Starks are back in Winterfell at least.

Got to say, it's not been easy to lay aside the books and just enjoy the show this season, they've changed just about everything at this point. BUT: Ep9 was @%#!ing incredible, no episode of any show has ever made my heart beat like this for 30 mins straight. Fuck me, that episode made the entire season. I'm with Figg - speechless! And the best part is, it can't have spoiled much of the plot from the books (the obvious excepted), because they've got all the characters and plots so terribly mixed up anyway. It's all good Very Happy

I don't know. I think Littlefinger's actual power is exaggerated.
