edit add-For those who watch it, takes 15 minutes before he stops fawning over her and they even mention War of the Rohirrim.

Alarm bells ringing!- "and the unnamed daughter of Helm, who now is at the heart of this film... she is a fabulous rider and very skilled, you know, with a sword...with a deep love of the natural world" this is followed by Boyen trying to backpedal, insisting she is not a warrior princess, it's about the hard choices she has to make. But then the writer comes back in and makes it worse again, "she ends up bearing a lot of the consequences of other people's actions, a lot of her choices are stripped from her. So we wanted to bring her to a place, towards the end of the movie, where she has the ability to choose." This is then made worse when Boyens mentions the actress they have got and the writer chips in with "she kicks so much ass"

I made it an hour of this, I can't take the rest, someone else let me know if it gets a worse. Its sounding like Rings of Power mark II in cartoon form }}

Don't mind this girl.

Yep she's the only one who provided an intellectually sound viewpoint on Tom Bombadil.

Not saying I believe what this guy is saying, but in the book I thought it was funny how Gandalf and Aragorn just happen to stumble across it.

Those ears on Elrond and Saruman!

Too me it was obvious that Gandalf had been out searching for it, and having found it brought Aragorn there to present it to him. The only funny thing was Aragorn saying "I have found it!" like a child finding an easter egg.

I would skip to minute 5; everything before that is general background we all know and the presenter is not the most entrancing. But he presents Tolkien's discarded story of the garden of Eden and the fall, which I suppose may be in HOME somewhere.

mostly with a pulse type but a Hobbit would be nice, all that compost, hairy feet and oddly shaped vegetables. Speaking off, Ive been away thats true, and without causing upset, How the holyheck is Dave ?

I gave Dave a call several months ago. He's doing well, keeping quite busy with the shoreline project among other things. We didn't talk about why he's no longer in Forumshire, but it seems the process of losing his mother (a long process) produced something of a mental reset, and he's shifted to his various extra curricular projects rather than hanging out online.

Awh, poor chap, but keeping active and keeping the old noggin stimulated are good therapy. I hope his Shoreline project goes well, its a big ask trying to keep the land safe and to make people sit up and realise whats going on. Good luck and best wishes to him.
