Friend sent me this. Go to Google maps. Select 'get directions'. Put in China as your start point and Taiwan as your end point. Then go see step 48 for some practical advice on how to get there!

That's great! I once saw one where someone got Google to give them directions from the Aleutian Islands in Alaska to Knivskjellodden, Norway (Google maps to see how far apart they are ) but I can't seem to get it to work.

Try Japan to China. Direction 42.

I know China isnt that keen on foreign visitors but that does seem a bit over the top as a means of keeping folk out!

You are probably as nervous as your students Kafria! Hope they all do well as I am sure they will have.

I'm terrible.

I'll go in before the kids, get the print off from the exam board, look through evey kids result first.

Then I go do it all again against the predictions I made against prior attainment and their targets to find out how many hit their target, how many did better and how did worse. Always a mixed feeling. Some kids will reach what I expected or do better, but still be deemed to have underachieved as they didn't reach their target! Expecting mixed results this year - an arrogant set 2, expecting 2 to fail completely, will be hauled over the coals!

There will be an individual class by class breakdown for the leadership team in the first week and my head of department has a meeting with the head to discuss it. Additionally the kids performance in Science is compared against other subjects (a residual) so we can also be hammered if we didn't get as much out of them

I love how management structures are so well honed to know exactly what to do to increase morale.
Perhaps if you were allowed to teach instead of trying to attain a series of targets everyone would be better off. (I'm pretty sure the only reason education has become a list of targets is because thats about as complicated as current sitting MP's can understand)
