Petty's Purist LotR Edits [4]

I enjoyed that, actually got interested in it. SOOO much better now its been tweeked here & there. Still niggled by peejers assault on the book but at least this edit is bearable ! Well done is what I say.

I can put the last part up tonight (its only 35 minutes long so should take about an hour and a half which would mean about half twelve to oneish- or I can leave it till tomorrow if its getting too late.

Is anyone else watching this ? I dont mind, I can stay up to watch the last bit ?
I liked that this 2nd piece flowed as it should, ie: day after night, that sort of thing. It did fit better & as you say, once you actually include Bilbo in the game its more enjoyable.

I think its just you Azriel. And as they have both been pulled already guess it will only be you!

still annoys me that during the 'rock-em-sock-em' scene its meant to be a howling storm,rain etc yet, the little b******s are dry when they get in the cave Bit sloppy that.

Very quick indeed. Especially given some of the LotR's edits are still there from ages ago. WB are faster and more all seeing than New Line were!

I will be uploading TH purist edit to the pettytyrant101 drive tonight. Should all be up for tomorrow. It'll be the HD version.
I have also removed book1 from that drive as its the old version. Will reupload the new version after TH is done.

Didnt get TH uploaded as I started tinkering with it again.
Cant make my mind up about leaving a bit in or not.

How about you leave it in, and ask those who see it if it it should be removed or not?

Ah, seems I missed it. I'll have to wait for the upload then.

Ok TH is uploading to the drive- in theory, I have my suspicions. Allegedly the limit has been increased to 10gig, which means that I can in theory upload the entire purist edit as one single video file (its 9gig) but that also means it will take ages to upload as a single file and therefore more chance of something going pear shaped before its finished. We shall see.
But all going well it will be available for download by days end.

I am particularly keen to hear folks thoughts on the additions I have put back in, especially the non purist bits, but which I fear may be necessary before all is done to make a coherent film.
