It's amazing to me that an Aussie would be up on an American baseball team, of all things. Don't you folks have like, 3-day cricket matches to keep track of?

Cubs down 1-0. 2nd game about to kick off.
Or is that pitch off ?

The Indians havn't won it since 1945 i think.
If the Cubs wern't in it i would go for them.

Does a pinch runner stay in the game ?
Or does he just run for the batter and the batter can bat again ?

A player who is substituted out is out for the rest of the game. The pinch runner can fill that place in the batting order for the next inning, or they can be substituted out for another (new) player.

It'd be cool to see the Cubs win after all this time but it'd also be wild for Cleveland to have two championships in different sports in the same year after having gone so long without any titles whatsoever. Though I'm only watching for the historical value either way, since the O's lost in the AL wild card game.

I caught about half of game three after I got off work. It was a pretty good game despite the low score. Bill Murray's (drunk) Daffy Duck impression during the seventh inning stretch sure was something, though.

Kind of anticlimactic though to end in a tie. Shrugging

I haven't caught any of the London games because of the time zone difference; I'm not up that early on Sundays unless I have to work. This is what, the second tied game in as many weeks? Sounds a lot more entertaining than the Cardinals-Seahawks one though (unless you really like defensive grudge matches).

Yeah it was pretty exciting, didn't catch the whole game but London got its money's worth just in that overtime. Not sure what teams they prefer, cheering sounded about equal for both teams.

Is Carolina really 1-5 ATM? What happened to that team?

Cowboys game has been pretty disappointing so far. Credit to the Eagles for playing so well though.

Fake edit: helluva fake punt right there!

We've been flipping channels between this and the World Series, which has been a more even game then some of the earlier ones.

Norv Turner is out as Vikings OC. Was only able to catch the first part of the game in Philly, and wasn't able to watch the game against the Bears, but heard they were both very embarrassing losses. I figure the rest of the season will be about as good as the last two games. Sad

The Vikings have returned to their rightful place in the NFL. Losing to the Detroit Lions. Mad

Slept through most of the 1:00 games but I'm shocked the Ravens have held on against the Steelers so far.

Cowboys-Browns ended about how I expected though.
