Germany would have wiped the floor with either of hem tonight.

I fully expect a German win- but fortunately this is football, so you still never know how it will go on the day.

It was not a classic thats for sure.

Here's hoping for a better game for the final.

'Ray Whelan, head of Fifa partner Match Hospitality, has fled to escape arrest in Rio over alleged illegal World Cup ticket sales, Brazilian police say.
In a statement after his arrest, Match Hospitality denied any wrongdoing by Mr Whelan, and said he would co-operate with any investigation.
However, police in Rio said they went to Mr Whelan's room in the Copacabana Palace but he was no longer there and they were told he had left an hour earlier.
Mr Barucke said outside the hotel: "We have security camera images of him exiting the hotel through a service door."- BBC

Guess he didnt fancy extending his world cup stay in a Brazllian jail!

My manager is wagering that Argentina's defense going up against the German offense will make for an entertaining final, but I hope Argentina in general plays with a bit more excitement than they mustered yesterday.

I reckon this Argentina team only have one thing that could trouble this German team and thats Messi- if the German defence can successfully nullify him Argentina  look average without him and I dont think the Argentinian back line can hold in the Germans, Germany dont really have a star they have a team- thats much harder to play against.

I hope y'all are watching the Final too and just not online for it. Razz It was a pretty entertaining first half, they both came sooooo close to scoring. Definitely a much better game so far than either semifinal, IMO.

I'm watching... only just occurred to me to come on here to see who else was.

Extra time.... final being decided on penalties isn't really what we want.

I'm glad it didn't go to penalties, that would have sucked. I was rooting for Germany mainly on the basis of me having studied the language in college, so I wasn't too invested, but I thought it was an entertaining game which was the most important thing to me. Congrats to Germany! cheers
