What is the meaning of life?

I mean, WHAT is the meaning of the big things? Are there more to life than just pickled herrings? Is there going to be another great christmas in this life? :O How are we supposed to live without our GLORIOUS LUTEFISK?

Most of us have been living without your Glorious Lutefisk for years on end and doing quite well, thank you very much. 
It could be that the whole meaning of life circles around pickled herring: either trying like hell to get some, or trying like hell to avoid eating it.

meaning of life? I dont think there is one. Life doesnt mean anything, its just there. Only us humans search for a logical reason for being, I think life is a weird concept, I can understand why animals want to be alive, but I cant understand why life sought to exist billions of years ago, or how the very first lifeform thought to itself, ooh this is cool I am conscious, now lets make woopy and make more of me.

That is very true ms. Life is something most people waste doing only what they are told to do. If you want to do something in your life, just fcking do it. Nobody is there putting up limits except yourself. Those few "free minded peoples" (of which I suppose most of are on this site), have nothing to proclaim at their deathbed. I suppose.
