When I was in Africa sometimes at night you'd feel pricking on your body, wake up, turn on a flashlight and see the whole wall moving with driver ants!
Fortunately they didn't have venom. You'd just move to your camp cot with legs in cans filled with water, and let the swarm pass through. Any bugs or crumbs of food would be picked up and disappear.
