Im always constantly amused at how the hours just happily slip away on this forum ! I get so engrossed in the threads & putting my tuppence worth in, that I forget the cats actually survive on FOOD ! My son nags me to make dinner or cheese scones, the house work needs doing, It goes from day to night with hardly any acknowledgement from me ! Im sure if a troup of wandering Gypsies camped on the garden I wouldnt notice !! I think We've had some cracking good evenings of witty banter lately !

well I used to work in a book shop in Florence, it sold only English Language books, so I spent all the time reading novels for free. anyway one day this chap strolled in and looked at the Dan Brown collection, he lifted up The DaVinci Code and asked me whether I had read it, I said 'Hell No its tripe!', and he just smiled sadly and walked out. I picked up the book to put it back on the shelf and lo and behold it was Himself and I had just insulted the Worlds most popular writer. 'nice one Jules' I thought. I debated whether to tell the boss, but decided I liked my job.

You're lucky he didn't decide to talk to your boss.

I think he got what he deserved. He was clearly fishing for compliments... who goes int9o look at their own book and then ask someone if they have ever read it?
