I got a no-hotlinking error image at first but when I looked at the thread again I saw the intended GIF. I'm hesitant to describe it to you though Halfy since I'm afraid it might make your head explode.

One of my favorite scenes from a movie (Dangerous Beauty) that I think got far less attention than it deserved. To understand this clip, you have to be clued in that courtesans in Renaissance Venice were very different from what we might think; for in those times it was not seemly for a virtuous woman to have an education. But courtesans, being free of the shackles of virtue, could indulge in education in order to keep and hold the interest of men. The courtesans therefore had a much better grasp of politics and current events then even the wives of politicians and officers. But that was only one of their attributes...
The movie is based on a true story, by the way. In the climax one of the opposing states pressures the church to try her for witchcraft due to her backdoor political influence. In a scene and a line taken right off of court documents, she shames her clientele, the most powerful men in the city, to stand up and declare her innocence.
The cardinal knows he has been had, and storms off saying "Very well then, I leave this woman to Venice, who richly deserves her!"
