I am so glad there were no mobiles in my misspent youth. I shudder to think!

Boring.
Clothed fun is no fun at all. Is it disturbing to say I'm having fun right now? And I haven't showered today!

Re: bows and arrows
That's what they teach us in the army - look like a duck. When the shit goes down, you have to think as fast as the duck's feet move, but still look as cool as a duck does above water

Re: bows and arrows
A man invites a friend to watch his prize duck hunting dog at work.
They approach the first pond, the dog runs ahead into the brush. He comes back and waves his tail once. The owner tells his friend that this means there is one duck on the pond. They walk up, and sure enough, one duck flies off.
At the second pond, the dog waves his tail three times. The owner explains that this means there are three ducks on the pond. When they walk up, exactly three ducks take flight.
At the third pond, the dog runs back and forth, humping the hunters' legs and chasing his tail. The friend asks what in the world this means. The owner explains, "This means there are so many f**king ducks on that pond, he can't even count them."

I know what a duck is.... wondering how it worked with chav talk. More like those northerners.
Re: bows and arrows
To answer Azriel's question from pg.1 Archers tended to be from the lower classes , it was easier for poor people to buy or make bows and arrows than to buy swords and armor , Incidentally giving someone the bird (flipping them off) came from Archers , when they were captured in battle it was commonplace to cut their middle finger off so they could not draw a bow back ever again, so when archers went into battle it was commonplace for them to show the enemy the cockfinger ,and that is how one of our favorite insults came about .
