Re: bows and arrows
Before Halfwise chews me out for my sleep habits again, I'd like to say that they're actually nowhere near as bad as they used to be and the past week or two has been an anomaly which I expect to end now that I'm done with finals.
Re: bows and arrows
Think I have done 3 straight days in my youth and then got really ill after when I actually settled down.
Can't do that now... too old for no sleep.

Re: bows and arrows
Earlier this semester I stayed up all night without sleeping at all, which I'd never done before (and hope not to do again). All told I was awake for about 40 hours straight I think.
my friend sometimes forgets to go to bed and just "what the fuck", but idk, she is always in a much better mood when she has had no sleep.. like she is slightly drunk xD
five hours sleep ... combined?! that's crazy! why do you do that?!

When I don't sleep enough I sometimes get a ... not exactly a second wind, but I stop feeling tired at some point and enter a zombie like but functional state. I tend to crash in the early afternoon though.

A combination of procrastination (I wrote a 12 page paper in one day on Thursday ) and being unable to fall asleep even when I wanted to due to stress.
I slept for 10+ hours last night though and will likely do the same again tonight.
Re: bows and arrows
I have always needed more sleep than normal people, I need at least 10 hours to start feeling human, 12 is even better and 14 is optimal. if I only get 7 or 8 hours I feel terrible, really bad like a zombie.

Re: bows and arrows
how can your school think that that's a good idea?! i mean, if you can't sleep...? i don't get it.. why give so little time on a huge-ass paper so you can't sleep?

I had a ton of time, this was totally my fault for procrastinating (though in this case it was partially that I didn't want to do it and partially that I was stressed out over a variety of things).
