So as not to bring in another caracter Azog doesn't get killed in the caves by Gandalf, but comes back in the battle of the 5 armys to be crushed by Beorn ?

Or is it Bolg who gets killed by Gandalf. I'v only read the book over 20 times, but you no what i mean.

Billy Connolly is to wear a fat suit to make him look shorter for his role in The Hobbit reports The New Zealand Herald. Connolly, who plays the warrior dwarf Dain Ironfoot, also has a suit of armour for the battle scenes, which he described as “weighing a ton“.

Last month the director Peter Jackson said, ”With Billy stepping into this role, the cast of The Hobbit is now complete. We can’t wait to see him on the battlefield.”

The comedian arrived in New Zealand last week to prepare for filming. According to a source close to him, Connolly seems to be as excited about the prospect of fishing as he is of starring in The Hobbit, reportedly calling the country “trout heaven“.

Smoke rising over the green screen in Wellington. My guess is that Laketown is currently being attacked by a Benedict Cumberbatch voiced dragon.

At least its something sensible about the Hobbit pub. Very Happy not some idiotic wittering of some elven maidens I could mention but wont because you know who I mean and it starts with the letter T and ends in auriel. Rolling Eyes

I was also delighted to see the Hobbit pub issue has been resolved, and it's nice to see the lawyers give some explanation for why they had to act like jackasses and seem apologetic about it. The $100 licensing fee is eminently reasonable.

Which specific natterings are you referring to Mrs Figg? All I've found is her worry that purists won't like her character because she's a bit of a purist herself and she sympathizes!

that sounds almost like a rude disease if you say it quickly, so dont. Suspect In theory now I have said farewell to Bree forever, and said my fond farewells,I shouldnt be commenting on hobbity things, but I have always got room for Tauriel bashing.
