I was once host to a couple of Aussies. They had never fired off fireworks (since it apparently never rains fireworks are a problem) so I took them across the Hudson river to fire some off with Manhattan as a backdrop. Wish I could find the pictures. Yeah, it's also illegal but the cops have bigger fish to fry. anyway, it happened to be a misty day, and they were shooting off pictures right and left, but the skyline wasn't what was fascinating them: they had never seen a misty day before!! Laughing

(They also chased around squirrels to take pictures, but that's another story.)

I shouldn't have suggested it was a story 'cause there's not much to it. It's just that it took forever to walk through central park because I kept losing them (the Aussies) on account of the squirrels. They couldn't get enough of them and had to stop and take pictures of every damn one.

I dunno. In my experience nudist beaches and the like are full of exactly the people you don't want to see in such a state. A few comely bods slip in, but there's a heavy price to pay for those sightings. You're better off waiting for the summer months at the beach boardwalk. I'd rather accept not seeing everything I want in exchange for the privilege of not seeing everything I don't. Naughty bits are best covered until you know what you're in for.
