Re: HotD
He was a drunken pig in a jester's outfit, and generally insufferable. But that's just my opinion.

Re: HotD
I think you're getting him mixed up with Ser Dontos?

Re: HotD
well another good solid episode. This one seems to have the theme of daughters and dads. Two dads willing to sell off their daughters to gain power and one nice dad who doesn't get mad when his daughter sneaks out to play with her dragon. She is a pretty badass little monkey face.

Re: HotD
when you see the actress as herself she looks pretty normal. Not sure what it is about the getup they put her in which makes her stick out so much. I happen to think her looks as a platinum blonde are somewhat endearing.

Re: HotD
I think they chose her to look as much alike to her older version as possible. And she does.

Re: HotD
They are probably doing makeup stuff to match them as well. Emma D'arcy is pale as a sheet these days, while Millie has an Aussie tan.

Re: HotD
Episode 6 started with different actors playing the Princess and the Queen. Didn't no what was going on. Didn't even tell you that 10yrs or so has passed.

Re: HotD
Just watched this week's episode. I think the best one yet with some really great scenes (apparently my favourite of which was improvised!)
The time jumps between each episode makes thiglngs hard to follow without a forced line like 'it's been 6 years' in the first few minutes but I am not sure how else to really handle it in this medium.
Looking forward to this continuing!

Re: HotD
The typical way is to have the young character do or say something that is foreshadowing, then dissolve to the mature character in the present time.

Re: HotD
In a movie, sure. Not in a show like this.
I'm dealing with a level of uninterest in the younger characters, and my credulity is stretched past breaking as to why several characters look identical to themselves 20 years ago.
But overall I'm still enjoying the show.

Re: HotD
I really enjoyed how happy the Velaryon guy looked right before he said it. Such a smug look, like the greatest of trolls.
Ol' Uncle Daemon still stirring up trouble as much as he ever did. The relationship between Daemon and Viserys feels so familiar and reliable amidst all the rest of what's going on.
