The Great Photoshop Challenge

I thought it might be fun if we throw the gauntlet down to those who are talented with photoshop and creative stuff. there are no rules but if anyone finds photos or images which we think could make a great Tolkien or fantasy based picture but are in need of editing or tweeking, to post them with a description of what we invisage for the overall look.

maybe something Minas Tirith inspired?

Basically you're setting up Petty-bait. It's sort of inviting everyone to a golfing competition but Tiger Woods just happens to be on the list.

hey do the Pelennor Fields have the right length grass though?

{{{Thanks Figg- and yes the grass is right!! As is the fauna, more or less (I used Lazio for the background- though the mountains are actually for Japan would you credit). Still needs a lot of work to bring all the elements together- her shadow is terrible its just a place-holder, mountain edges needed 'feathered' to blend in better and I think some plants are needed on that balcony, might keep more of the greenery in front of it from the original picture before I'm done- but got to get up and go back to work in 6 hours so it will have to wait sadly }}

maybe you could make the atmosphere more like the original, looking over to Mordor? Its your turn next then, if you have some picture ideas?

mebee he can be put in a background like this? I imagine the camp they made before they went to the paths of the dead, cant remember the name of the mountain Cliffside.

Very nice! the ominous sky and light adds a lot to the story it tells.

That's quite good! I'd make the mountains of morder a bit darker and more menacing, should be easy. Except for them being a bit too close in the film I think they had the right feel to them.

Perhaps it's too late, but flipping her around would help with the direction of the lighting in that shot.

I'm afraid the light on her dress is just incompatible with the lighting of her surroundings. :/
